Web Design and Search Engine Optimization
The Sawgrass Website is XHTML and CSS based, and driven by PHP and MySQL. The goal for the redesigned Website was to increase user visits, increase search engine presence, and to develop and promote the sawgrass family of brands and products.
Mission Accomplished
In September 2005, I began work on the Sawgrass Website, with the goal of bringing it’s performance up to the speed with that of Sawgrass’ innovation. The relaunched site surpassed everyone’s expectations in the first month of its existence. Search Engine results went from none to number one for more than 15 of Sawgrass’ desired keywords. Site visitors increased more than 290%, including record numbers for returning visits, and first–time site visitors.
